Matt Kinley - Partner
Tredway Lumsdaine & Doyle

Matthew Kinley is a partner of Tredway Lumsdaine & Doyle LLP (TLD). He joined the firm in 1989 and served the firm as Managing Partner from 2006 to 2011.

Litigation and Real Estate Counseling. With over two decades of litigation experience in state and federal courts on behalf of individuals and entrepreneurial businesses, Mr. Kinley has developed a successful track record in real estate, business and corporate disputes. He also has substantial experience in arbitrations and alternative dispute resolution, as well as successfully formed counseled with regard to real estate organizations formation, sale and acquisition.

In 2005, the California Chamber of Commerce recognized Mr. Kinley with its Small Business Advocate of the Year Award. The award was given in recognition of Mr. Kinley’s continued advocacy for small businesses within the state.

A native of Long Beach, Mr. Kinley is a member of the Los Angeles Bar Association and the Long Beach Bar Association. He is also a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. He served as the Long Beach Area Chamber of Commerce’s Chairman of the Board of Directors and its Leadership Council, and is past president of the local Rotary Club. He has served in leadership positions for the Long Beach Commercial Real Estate Council, the Long Beach Muscular Dystrophy Association, Long Beach Memorial Hospital’s Partnerships in Excellence, Miller’s Children’s Hospital Advisory Board, the St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation Board of Directors, the Rancho Los Amigos Foundation Board of Directors, Seafest Board of Governors and many other charitable and community organizations.



Elana Luber

Experienced (20 years) real estate transactional attorney specializing in retail leasing, acquisition, disposition, financing, and development. I have represented shopping center developers, institutional owners and national retail tenants in a myriad of retail projects, including power, lifestyle and neighborhood shopping centers, as well as mixed-use developments. In addition to my experience representing private sector developers, I have worked extensively with public sector entities, including cities, counties and redevelopment agencies. My retail expertise is coupled with a broad base of experience in mixed use, office and industrial leasing and development, and I have worked on projects located throughout the United States (as well as a few outside the U.S.).
